POSITION SUMMARY

Follows accounting principles and Company procedures to accurately compile, input and maintain Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable. Payroll and cash deposit records. Reconciles and balances account records and files information in a timely manner. Greeting and assisting customers when they come to office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and BASIC DUTIES

  • Sets up vendors in the account system in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Reviews details and enters data into the accounting system concerning vendors and miscellaneous invoices according to deadline requirements.

  • Reconciles vendor statements to the accounting system and researches discrepancies with Managers and/or vendors. Ensures a timely resolution to each situation.

  • Provides customer service to vendors and customers who may have inquiries pertaining to their accounts.

  • Prepares cash control sheet reconciliations on a daily basis or as soon as data is available.

  • Run employee production reports for performance pay, send to employees, and resolve discrepancies on a weekly basis

  • Enters payroll on a weekly basis. (Online system - we use an outside payroll service)

  • Audit employee timesheets, send to employees, and resolve any discrepancies on a weekly basis.

  • Audit use of employee debit cards on a monthly basis

  • Audit vehicle use, gas, and other vehicle expenses

  • Pull data from our system/outside, perform analysis, report findings and recommendations.

  • Stays abreast of the Company’s products and services; recognizes opportunities to recommend additions/enhancements to Company products and services.

  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicable previous experience (2 years bookkeeping and/or accounting experience) and/or post secondary education.

  • Knowledge and comfort with Excel, and Word

  • Knowledge and previous experience with Quikbooks a plus

  • Ability to work independently after training

  • Pass background and drug tests

  • Comfort in a fast paced office environment.



Part Time Position 20-25 hours per week. Rate of pay based on experience.
